I don’t believe it. They’ll reconsider when sales start dropping off. Resident Evil is a HUGE cash crop. Millions of fans. When they aren’t happy, the money will go elsewhere. Capcom won’t have that.

this game can not take up to 8 years by that time people will have given up on resident evil unless they keep the movies going… 6th game might just have all the people come together to take out the virus once and for all or just one person getting tips or second player mode help from the other characters. like i said at first if this game takes to long, people will lose hope….

the new Resident Evil needs to finish off where Degeneration ended where Frederic escapes and Claire is sent by TerraSave to find him and she rides in on a motorcycle in a town. Frederic used the G virus claw to make a complex virus and Claire can meet Carlos Oleveira cause i want to know wat happened to him. And Nicholei can be in it.

yes , after beating the game once, you can start a new game and play as either chris or sheva.

The 6th one can be like the finale one. And sence 1-3 took place in ammerica and the 4th one took place in europe and the 5th one took place in africa the 6th one can take place in Asia And the man character can be like Clair, Leon, And Chris. Or mabey the guy off Dead aim.

But CapCom you have many fan’s and it would be a tragic for this series to end………..

Knowing Capcom, it’s plausible. They have historically filled in the gaps with subgames, remakes, and ports.
